Families and Transition dinner service needs BPC volunteers
Please sign up here if you are interested in volunteering for Families in Transition dinner service shifts. By signing up, you will simply be joining a distribution list with opportunities to sign up for specific shifts to volunteer.
BPC covers the 3rd Saturday and 5th Friday of each month.
The dinner shift is 4:30-5:45 PM.
Location is 199 Manchester St in Manchester.
Families in Transition dining services support individuals in their emergency shelters.
Serve team roles:
Three to four volunteers will plate and serve food cafeteria-style to shelter participants.
All volunteers will assist with kitchen clean-up.
Role requirements:
The kitchen staff will complete on-site training.
You must be at least 16 years old.
You must read the FIT kitchen safety overview packet before starting.
You must tie back your long hair and wear closed-toed shoes.
You must be kind and friendly.
